Basetsana Moloi is a young, ambitious and goal-driven black woman who is on a quest to bring about change in the world through education. I am an advocate for the empowerment of education in Africa as I believe that it is through education that we become innovators and critical thinkers. Majoring in Political Science and International Relations in my undergraduate degree has introduced me to the world of development. I am passionate about resource management, development and expansion. Being exposed to Africa’s politics in pre and post-colonial times triggered an interest in me concerning Africa’s growth and development. Regional organisations such as the Southern African Development Community (SADC) assist in the bringing about of regional stability and growth. I am also quiet passionate about foreign policy. Its conception, objectives and the role that national interest plays. My interests and passions within the political and international relations spectrum evolve around development. As an individual who is goal-driven, development is a predominant factor in my growth as an individual and my contribution to society.
